Forwarding Service

Your purchase at the online shopping site can be sent to the provided address by Ponte Namban and Ponte Namban will forward them to your address. This allows you purchase goods from online shopping sites which do not support for the delivery of goods to outside the country. Online shopping sites in Portugal and Japan are supported.

You can use the address provided by Ponte Namban in Portugal or Japan as a delivery address of your shopping at online shopping site. The purchased goods will be forwarded to your address by Ponte Namban.

Inform us your intention of purchase at online site. Ponte Namban will provide you with the address which you can use as a delivery address at your shopping at online shopping site.

• It is the responsibility of the customer to check if the purchased goods can be legally imported to the destination address. Also, it is the responsibility of the customer to check if the purchased goods can be exported from the country where you made a purchase. Ponte Namban will not refund the money of your purchase if the goods cannot be delivered due to the import / export regulation.
• Additional taxes may be charged to receive the purchased goods at the destination country. Those charges are not included in our service fee and the customer must pay the taxes to receive the purchased goods.

Step by Step Usage Guide

1. Inform us with your desired goods and their quantity, the URL of the online-shopping site, the delivery address by e-mail.
2. Ponte Namban will provide you with the address, which you can use as a delivery address when shopping at the online site.
3. Enjoy shopping at the online shopping site and use the provided address as a delivery address. Inform us when you purchased the goods.
4. When the goods arrived at Ponte Namban, Ponte Namban will send you an invoice. Please pay the money as indicated.
5. After the payment was confirmed, we will send them out within a week. The confirmation e-mail will be sent.

Optional Service: Checking and Repacking Service

We provide the following optional services, according to the request. Please note that additional service fee will be charged (See Price List for the detail.)

1. Checking Service: We open parcels to check a list of the item and/or to remove components included in the parcels according to your instructions (e.g., Lithium battery which cannot be shipped by the postal service). Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to know which items cannot be shipped and to indicate us to remove such items. Ponte Namban only removes the items as instructed by the customer.
2. Repacking Service: We repack multiple parcels into one, to save your shipment cost.

Request for the information

To declare the income of the business activity in Portugal, Ponte Namban needs to ask the customer to provide your Financial Number or other ID number.  This information is used only for this purpose.
